  sparrowdown: "demon experience" are JWs.. The same here, besides the movies.

  One good thing about those demons, without them we would have missed out of a lot

  great movies.

  at the meeting sunday, the brother giving the "public talk" (no one from the public is ever there) was talking about how the organization is moving so fast.

  as proof of this he held up the new field service time slip.

  yep, that was plenty of proof for me, a smaller time slip to guilt the congregation to use their tablets in service to show video's.

  My brother told my sister, great things are happening. The young people are having a great times,

  the organization is on the move. I wonder is this a last ditch attempt to put a positive spin

  on the organization. Maybe a letter was sent to the elders, " We are in deep sh---t..."

  I cannot believe this in still being taught today. So they can not be in the same place but they

  can do the nasty with earthly women.

  I'am sorry, I try to believe but it's very difficult.

  Kinda Sad Re: Cart "Witnessing"

  slightly redacted for privacy of those involved.. so, this is "park witnessing" in oklahoma.. the parks in this community are basically walking trails and some tatty playground equipment.

  most of the time, sparsely used, and today was a very blustery day.. notice the justifying comment- "quite a few" checking out the cart.

  i am sure they were..... .

  Do they realize how silly they look. Oh yes, that's a religion I would love to join.

  Have there been one assembly part on how great the cart work is doing.

  You know something like, I was working the cart work and a guy had just mugged this little old

  lady in the park and he ran by my cart and the angel tripped him right in front of my cart. I placed

  a WT with him while he was down. He is now my bible study. We are still working on returning

  the little old lady purse. But Jehovah is great, sorry I mean the GB is great.

  The Demons were messing with me last night!

  so said my pops one morning.

  we were visiting my sister in eastern tennessee and the night before after everyone else went to bed pops was watching tv when all of a sudden and completely on it's own the tv changed to the tonight show, holy smokes!!

  must be demons cause pops didn't change it!

  Finkeistein: I agree on the variables. A well like elder walks away or DF, he goes off

  and does his own thing. Years later he return the brothers welcome him back with open arms.

  I believe the difference a person(not an elder) who have been df and seeking repentance by attending all

  meetings, sitting in the back and shunned it's a good thing for the rf. But someone who walked away,

  never attended any meetings and years later show up (elder), yes he will be reinstated quickly.

  Brother was a professional football player before becoming a JW. He was df for adultery,

  df and reinstated within two years and soon after an elder.

  I have been out since 1987, my brother an elder told me I could be reinstated in six months.

  I guess it much easier to be re instated if you have family members who are elders.

  Just got an apology from an exJW

  so i'm back from the store walking to my apartment, over a hundred units in the complex - all jws and ex-jws - and i see someone talking to an ex-jw neighbor of mine.

  she turns around and says "now there's some else i have to apologize to".. she identified herself as an old neighbor who used to play as a jw child right by my place.

  she had told me how she was raised to consider me and all the ex-jws in the apartment complex as evil and thought she had to apologize for that.. made my day.

  I apologized my best friend before I became a door knocker, he ask me to be his best man in

  his wedding.I also apologized to my non-JW family members, I was a know it all and they knew nothing

  about the bible. I apologized to my sons for almost destroying their life.

  Apologies are good if you were a jerk.
